Now, you are probably wondering what I meant by calling this particular story “The long-lost recipe”. Well, that is a very good question and I have a pretty good reason for calling it that.
You see I stopped going to this family's house, when the youngest went to college. Somehow, that baking cooky book was misplaced. You might be wondering if that recipe/book played such a big role in my life, how could I have forgotten it? Well, time passed. I had forgotten, as sometimes happens when you are busy doing other things.
But, I certainly never forgot that delicious, scrumptious cinnamon sugar cookie.
Recently, I decided I was going to actually figure out how to find that book with that delicious snickerdoodle recipe. After getting the name "Betty Crocker" from my friend who I baked the snickerdoodles with, I finally decided to search the internet to try to figure out how to get that book. Even though I didn't remember what the book was called I did remember what the cover looked like. So in the search engine on google I searched for "cookie cluster on baking book Betty Crocker's".
I was about to give up, but I kept going and I finally found it.
I finally got the book and I made them again! Well, let's just say it was the exact same cookie and it took me back to those memories of baking with my former babysitter. Now, I am honored to call her my friend.
